For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2011 Posts: 91 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2011 Posts: 91 | hello again, i'm in need of a radiator for my 1.5 Ton and i would like to save a little money. will any radiator of the same dimensions work? i have the ability to trim and weld to a certain degree. also, i know a guy that has one that came out of a 1942 1/2 ton. it seems to me that i heard somewhere that these radiators don't have the same cooling capacity, and they have fewer "rows" of cooling tubes? once finished, i will use it to occasionally haul my motorcycles and jeep. also, i have a little time to find one i have the truck dismantled now. i have a picture of my old radiator posted. i hope someone has time to give me a radiator 101 class. thanx | | |
