Thanks guys, but the motor is mortly made up of car parts- including the distributer.
I checked for the squirt of fuel and pumping it before starting and even after its warmed up, produces no squirt of fuel in the carb.
So it must be the accelerator pump. Where is it located in this carb? Can you buy just the accelerator pump assembly?
