Looking from the front of the truck, rotate the weight as far counter clockwise as it will go. That is the heat off position. Turning it clockwise will put a lot of heat into your carb. I got mine freed up enough to barely move then jammed it into the off position and there she stays. A bit of choke on cold start and she's good to go.
