Hi Kent. I am doing the same with a 48 3100.
Buy both manuals. Assembly and shop manuals. You will go back and forth through them. They will answer questions that you will come up with.
You will be putting it together. And at times taking some of it back a part and reassembly.
It is the nature of the beast.
