not your 'mistake' buggy, and you haven't actually changed anything, the problem is the link turns into something other than what it appears, a 'referrer click thru' of some kind, which some browsers protection setup will reject ..... hover the mouse on the link, right click and select copy, then paste it into an address bar and look at how it's grown
