Hi,I'm new to Stovebolt. I own a pickup bed from the 30's or 40's and would like to have some help identifying it. It's about 73 1/4 inches long (same as my mid-30's Chevrolet PU bed) but with a corrugated, original looking metal floor. The GMC website people say it isn't GMC. It doesn't have embossed sides so it isn't Ford. Mar-k and other bed manufacturers show Mopar from this era as being about 78" so I don't believe its Dodge,Plymouth or Fargo. I know a picture is worth a thousand words but I don't have one right now. The bedsides show evidence of teardrop style rear fenders. No tailgate, of course. Previous owner says it's Chevy. Please put me out of my misery. It has the very familiar-looking curved bed pockets that so many 30's and 40's pickups had. Thanks In Advance. Dynodon
