Like many others, I use a "Battery Butler" on my 6V battery to maintain the charge and it is getting the job done, but one never knows...! Am I missing something, or is there a lack of available portable 6V jump starting units in the American market? If this is the case, what is recommended for jump-starting a dead 6V battery--with another 6V battery only? That is not always practical in the field/on the road. Should one stay away from using a 12V to jump start? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
