philip t 'Bolter P Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 224 central nc	that is my thought roy i bet its got an air bubble under the thermostat. if you drill a 1/8 hole in the flat part of the thermostat you will eliminate this as a possibility and it wont hurt anything. philip
