My question may seem simple to answer, but not to me.

My zenith 28 carburetor appears to be leaking from the main jet plug. I put a wrench on the plug and noticed it was loose. I started to tighten it but turned it back, thinking it may affect the carburetor performance. I bought a carburetor rebuild manual but I can't tell if this plug can be tightened or it is an adjustment.

So, can I tighten this plug without affecting the carburetor performance?
