| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 | The 63-66 alternator bracket bolted to the front of the left exhaust manifold with mounting bolts in the horizontal position and had an adjustment arm that pivoted from the front of the manifold and/or the water pump. It was designed for a short pump. You would have to fabricate some sort of additional bracket to mount the early bracket to your engine.
You would probably be better off with some aftermarket brackets.
