I have always assumed that since I had a 261 block, I must have a 261 head. When I bought the motor, they came together and I had no reason to suspect it. Call me curious. I have identified the block. Casting #: 3769717 which tells me it is a 1959-62 261 out of a Chevy truck. My head number does not come up or I am missing it completely. Could someone please help with a link or cross reference to the number? 3836850. Thank you
