I need to know how the spare tire was stowed on my '57 3800 (long) panel truck. I'm guessing it was under the back end? I need to know the details, like how the support was mounted and what it looked like. Maybe some hardware sizes? I'm not sure that the stock parts (if I can find some) will work with the different sized tires I have so I may just try to fabricate something but I'd like to keep it somewhat original looking. All I know is I have several unused holes in the frame. Or, did it mount inside? | | |
