If the truck is just setting in the driveway and you rev the engine up to say 2500 RPMs does it go up steady and stay there?Or does it bog down?A electronic dis. is not going to help its no better than a set of points our engines are 3000RPMs at most points are good for that.I'll bet that if the engine runs up to 2500 RPM in the driveway it's a fuel problem some where there is a flow problem.Did you change all the fuel lines or at least blow air thru them?
