I'm still looking for leaf springs for my '53 1/2 ton, I want it to ride at normal height. I'd like to see what other vehicles people got theirs out of and to see how it looks. But if I just go to the wreckers, how many leafs should I get? I'll get it out of a 1/2 ton. Should I measure the original from bottom center to top and look for one of the same, or will that not matter since it'll be a wider spring and different # of leaves?
