Just wondering if any one has experience with the
"engine run-on" condition as described in the MSD 6A
manual. This is where the presence of residual voltage after the engine is switched off keeps the engine running.
I have an internally regulated GM alternator and MSD supplies a diode to be installed at the alternator in order to prevent the MSD from being "back-fed" with even minor voltage when you turn off the key...
I'm going to install that diode, but was wondering if anyone else has experience with this....? and, did the little diode do the trick?
Thanks
mike
