I beg to differ on the 12 tooth gear. My 1953 1/2 ton has 13 teeth. It was a bit wore although it still worked. My supplier got me a new gear that he installed, it had 12 teeth and totally mashed up the drive gear. edit, it's a 4 speed SM420
