For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 122 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 122 | Getting ready to clean up and upgrade some the wiring [such as a larger positive cable per prior post] and I was wondering what to do with the ignition switch if anything. My truck has a 350 SBC that the previous owner appears to have installed a push switch on the dash to engage the starter. Didn't the trucks originally have a floor start switch? [at least that is what the assembly manual seems to indicate]
What should I be looking at with this push switch to assure I am not loosing any power and that it does not create any other electrical concerns?
Thanks. | | |
