Hello,

I have a 235 Engine out of a mid 50's cars that I am trying to swap into my 1946 Stylemaster. Its been nothing but problems trying to do. My most current issue was with the intake/exhaust manifold. I thought my 216 was a direct swap with my 235 only to realize the 235 ports are much larger than the 216's. I am looking for a Downdraft manifold that I can run on my 235. Then original one on the motor bends to the right and will not mate up with my exhaust system. My only other option seems to be a three carb manifold which I am not intersted in doing.

Second question. My motor mounts were so bad when I pulled the engine out the disintigrated. I bought new mounts but can't seem to figure out how they fit inbetween. Does anyone have any pictures of a front mount 216/235 in a 40's car.

Thanks,

Dan
