| | | | Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 698 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 698 | I used a good grade outdoor poly urethane and gave both sides of the boards about 10 coats with light sanding between coats.
I cut the welds on the old angle strips and then punched 4 holes in the new strip and bolted it to the side like they did in the early 50’s using SS bolts.
