Yeah, it's a Rochester. I can read "ROCHESTER," printed diagonally, with BP above and GM below... this is on the front of the Carb. On the back, with a flashlight and a mirror, again I read Rochester GM Carburetor, and a bunch of smaller print that I can't quite read. I've never messed around with the carb at all. Maybe it's time I get a rebuild kit? Or switch it out for a Carter? Again, this is on a '54 235. Here's a pic:
