My first venture into old vehicle restoration - this will truly be a learn as I go operation. So far so good - wheel and master cylinders as well as a carb rebuild. Also did the gaskets on the valve cover and oil pan (with an interesting find in the oil pan - a new bolt that was identical to those holding the piston rods on. All were present, so I think an extra one fell down there at the factory.) This rig has only 5900 miles on the speedo! Next will be the fire pump. Hydrovac also just got sent out - couldn't find a rebuild kit for it.

Lot's of fun as a daily driver to work (fire station). Also to be used for kid's birthday parties and PR for the Firefighters Association.
