I have one behind a 248 in my burb. I love it. Just got back from a 2427 mile trip. Ran 70-75 every chance I got.
Got one in mine as well, probably the best alteration I did besides maybe the radial tires.
The trans itself will bolt right up. The only issue I can think of might be the driveshaft, depending on which main transmission and overdrive unit it is. I beleive the later trans (7 bolt cover) is longer than the early trans, there may also be a length differenc from the RH10 (early) and RH12 (late) overdrive units. You may need a shorter driveshaft.
