After looking at Virginiafiretrucks links, there is not much going on in the central states. I hope to take mine to the Stovebolt Reunion in September but most of the older rigs were not geared for the interstate speeds and it will be a long drive.

"Gateway Fire Historical Society" just had a Muster at the Musieum of Tranportation in St.louis and I was not able to make it.
They also have a get together with the St. Louis Fire Dept June 11 at the St. louis Fire Dept. Headquarters and Training Center.

I'm new to this Fire Truck scene and think that most areas have just a small group of people that get together every once in a while and it is not a big passion to own such a big piece of history.
If you can make it up to KC in Sept, with or without a truck, you will be welcomed as one of the group and have a great time. I took my Wife last year and she also will be there again this year because she had such a great time.
