That is some bad luck. It,s pretty rare a small block drops a valve. I hear there is some problems with cam-lifter wear because the oils don,t have the additives for flat tappet cams since newer cars are using roller tappets. They recommend using deisel oil. I just buy a new Goodwrench engine for all I do. Everything is new & factory built.
