It probably isn't as good a carb as the OE Rochester, because it won't be calibrated for a specific engine/trans/gear ratio setup like an OEM carb would be. Typical Holley approach- - - - -make something that bolts on and looks right, and make it work pretty well for a variety of engines. If it works exactly right, it's a fortunate accident. Jerry
