#74923 03/16/2007 11:47 PM | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 887 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 887 | I'd like to reduce the number of turns lock-to-lock and move the steering wheel closer to the dash so, I'm thinking about cutting the old steering box on and using a reveresed corvair box connected to the original colum by means of a borgesen joint.
Does anyone know how many turns, lock to lock, a corvair box uses? Also does can anyone think of any reason not to use a reversed corvair box?
