That is exactly what I did to my 1966 Chevy C-10. There is only one rub. You must go to a salvage yard and get the proportioning valve from a 1967-70 truck with 4 wheel drums. I did this, got a master cylinder for a 1967 C-10 from NAPA, bent up some hard line, and was in business. This truck stopped better than it had any right to do. This was before I rebuilt the brakes...
