Okay here we go again, another stupid question.
I did remove the oil pan to be able to clean and replace the old gaskets.
In the bottom of the oil pan I found a short spring in 2 pieces. I thought it was the valve spring in the pump. But when I check now, the retainer pin is still in there.
Can the spring in any possible way come out from the inside ? Don't think so... I hope it is a leftover from someones job before.
Anyone has another idea? The spring is the diameter and length, so I think it's that kind of spring.
