This is an interesting thread. My 57 has a 350 (1970 truck engine), 4 bbl square bore, MY6 trans, and 3.36 rear. I have been trying to get the most speed from the fewest rpms, paying no attention to vacuum measurements or power curves. Might explain why my fuel economy is less than it could be. I don't know what my engine has for internal parts, but if we assume it is stock, is there a site which shows a power curve/ fuel consumption for any given motor?
