I am working on my floorboards in my 59 Chevy and have a question on what appears to be some kind of vent hole on each side of the cab. The holes are roughly the size of cigarette pack that protrude down the side of the truck. They are up against each side, below the heat vents. Were these originally capped with something? Or just rust holes in my cab, that I am mistaken for something else. =) Any help appreciated.
