Ok. here is the scoop on the numbers you ask about.
1100028 was a 6 volt 45 amp. short case Delco gen. Used in 53 and 54 on all 216s and 235s. Standard generator on all Chevrolet passenger cars and 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. Also used on Corvette but took a different pulley supplied specifically by Chevy and not Delco, for Corvette. Also, Delco #1100018 was also used in 53 and was basically the same generator as the 028 unit.
1102793 was used on 53-54 Taxi, 1 1/2 ton trucks and 2 ton.
1102788 52-53 Larger GMC Trucks, many different models.
These units may be able to interchange with other applications by changing pulley etc. I would have to pull up the complete parts breakdown on both and see what they are actually made of. This takes lots of time and currently I am short on that..sorry.
1107061 starter was basically the same starter that was used on Chevy trucks from around 1942-1953 before the case and end plate changed up.
1107108 pretty much the same starter as 1107061
1118827 voltage reg. was used in 54 on chevy cars and trucks. Could NOT have been used from 52-55 due to the voltage change from 6-12 volt.
1118725 was used in 53 on cars and trucks.
1118828 was used on 1955 GMC with 1102793 Generator and on GMC models 100, 150, and 250 as well as many other GMC applications.
1112393 Distributor, I dont have a clue. I just looked in the Chevy section of the Original Delco Master catalog for the late 40s through mid 50s and its not listed under Chevy in those years. Could be Pontiac, Olds, Caddy etc. for certain years. Would take lots of time to look and if I get a chance I will look some more.
