51 ashton,Thanks,I don't have the original 6cyl engine.I have a 350 small block in there now. The original temp sending unit,was really strechted out to reach,the one on the 8cyl location,so I had to get one for a 8cyl. You are right about the flushing out.The engine I have in there now had just been rebuilt.Thanks
