When I was in high school, I was following a truck on I-40 when his spare came of his trailer and bounced over my 73 Vega. I just about needed a change of undies after that one. He never stopped, so I chased the tire and rim to the bar ditch fence and loaded it into the back of the car and sold it to the Diesel repair shop for $75.00
. That was a weeks wages back then for me.
