there's a threaded hole on a slight boss on the pass side toeboard, in
this pic you can see it's right behind the V8 exhaust manifold - goes from there to a mount bolt on the starter and was originally a braided strap as shown ... sounds like you know the battery ground goes to a similar point behind the battery
