Canada	Hy Josh_53GMC, Canadian serial number 1943406096 breaks down as follows 1 - year 1951 94 - GMC 3/4 - 1ton 34 - pick-up delivery 8,800 lbs. g.v.w. 137" wheelbase 06096 - is the vehicle number 1951 Canadian GMCs other than the 9700 series [3 ton] were powered by Chevrolet engines, and all but the 9700 series [3 ton] were six volt negative ground, hope that clarifies.
