On my cooling system on my 1965 292 inline 6. i ordered a waterpump form rockauto. when i got it it has an extra pipe coming off it. looks like it is the bypass hose. the water pump I have on this engine just has the big outlet going to the bottom side of the radiator and then small one to the heater. it doesn't have the bypass of anykind. So I guess its the wrong one on the truck. what do I do? where do I find where the bypass hooks up to the thermastat housing. and what is missing.
will the none bypass pump work?? its been working. the radiator is plugged up tighter than fort knox. at least about a 3rd of it is. thanks mark
