Do you know what the control module looks like electrictally inside? In other words, diodes, transistors and such? You know to reverse the ohmmeter leads for checking diodes, and transistors (that foward and reverse bias thing) right?
A log of guys buy a spare module for both testing and keep it in the truck toolbag for roadside repair.
