| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 1,107 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 1,107 | i had to make one out of a box one time for mine i just used the pass. side as a template and painted it cab colors and couldnt tell the difference. then i got abs kick panels with speaker pods from an outfit called "rod doors" in your neck of the woods. they fit like a glove. i remember him saying there was a difference between 40 and later but i can confirm that. if there a difference then maybe there is a universal set to fit both with some trimming required ???
there should be no gap on the bottom. the panel sits on the floor/firewall and behind the lip on the floor. slight trimming in the form of a corner notch out where the top of the panel meets the dash and front of the door jamb. | | |
