What about the "holes" where the pins go in to hold the springs on? ('53 3/4 ton). The guy that's doing it builds wood stoves (the pellet / wood log furnaces). He said make sure everything's off that I don't want done. Its gonna get blasted, an acid bath and powder coated. Is it bad if those holes are open when it goes in? Or should I clean the pins up and put them back in just to keep the powder coating out of the holes? Any ideas?
