On 68 250. I am replacing the engine, which did not come with a pilot bushing. I went to a parts store, and recieved a pilot Bearing. It's the same shape and size as the old brass bushing, but has needle bearings inside. Q: should the bearings be toward the tranny, or should the beveled side go towards the tranny. Checked the Chiltons, no luck. Help!
