put it in a locked garage. pull the dist. and starter out along with the shifter, leaving it in gear. now they cant start it. take the wheels off and store them behind the garage leaving it on jack stands. now they wont want to steal it
get a good insurance policy to be able to replace the truck should it be stolen. take the same precautions as you do for your valuables in the house.
