Well Mike, don't accelerate, then it won't whine. Maybe an SM420 would work well in there. With a little help from a drill, hot wrench, some off-set special application bolts, I'm sure you can make it work. I'm sure one of your "old truck" friends would help you. I'm not too busy right now.
