I have just finished the swap. I used the tube type motor mount and transmission mount with a th-400. I kept the stock axle and Im using the nolimit power rack and pinion to solve the steering problem.Im also using a aftermarket steering colum.
I was thinking of doing the same thing to my 50 truck. The 400 engine's exhaust manifold is very tight to the stock steering. Where did you pick up your "nolimit" kit? And what kind of steering column did you use? thanks
