That NV is a heavy-duty tranny, Greg. You want the T5 from an S-10, about which there is plenty written here if you search. I thought about that one myself, but my gearhead buddy talked me out of it because he knows what I'll be doing with this truck. I don't know yet what his problem is with the Gear Vendors electric overdrive,(he has recommended against it) but I'll be picking his head apart in a couple of years if I decide I still want more. For the moment, though, I am happier than I thought I'd be with this single change.
