Hi everyone. I'm Ken Walker in Charlotte, NC. I've been reading the forums for about three years and finally got around to signing up. My '40 half-ton is my current project, and I recently got it to the driving stage. So far: all new brakes, 12 volt conversion, turn signals, new gas tank, new rear glass, and so on...
Future plans: engine/ trans/ rear upgrade, brake upgrade, paint (It looks good, just stay back 50 feet!} I've been a stovebolt fan since 1977, when I purchased a '59 Apache 31 panel truck. That was replaced by a '49 3100 deluxe cab (wish I still had THAT one!) Now, the '40! Next???
