The truck is a 1953 half ton with a 261 and is converted to 12 volts. The foot starter usually works well but sometimes, when I depress the foot starter, it grinds as if the flywheel and starter aren't meshing properly. Is there a spring or something that may need to be replaced? What should I look for?
