| | | | Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 1,897 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 1,897 | You need to find the ultra rare 139 tooth flywheel to continue operating as a 6 volt. You could convert the truck to 12 volt and use a 55-59 chevy 12 volt foot stomp starter.
The bendix drives on the starters are not easily interchangeable from the 6 volt to 12 volt starter. | | |
