I got 18 mpg with a 235 and a 261 at 55 mph on the highway (3.90 rear end) and the same 18 mph at 60-65 mph with a 3.55 rear end.
When I run at 65-70 mph, I get about 12 mpg.
My speedometer has been calibrated to the actual distance traveled at 60 mph. It would have been off by about 10% due to the larger diameter of the radial tires and about and 10% due to the 3.55 conversion.
I am neither [censored] nor offended by reading 28 mph (above) at 56-60 mph - I am impressed and astounded.
