| | | | Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 65 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 65 | I changed the oil recently in my 51 4spd half ton, and it looks like that was the last straw for the rear main seal. I now seem to have a steady drip of oil. Its farther back so I know its not the drain plug on the pan.
Rock Auto carries the Fel Pro gasket #BS5048. Its a "Rope Type" rear main seal. Its only $4!
Is this easy to install?
I also think my motor mount is bad in my '59. The engine moves alot more then my '51. Advance Auto has a front motor mount listed for my '51, but not for my '59. Any ideas?
