Stuart; Interesting indeed. I looked back at the photos and noticed that the line was in place but the pushrods were out, so I'm not sure if it was in back or in front. But, sine I reused the original line, it seems that if it was originally in back, that I would have had to "stretch" it some to put it in front of the pushrods. If it was rubbing, I would think the noise would be constant and not come and go. Will have to go back and see if I did any other pics of the engine at that time. Maybe my manuals will show a pic as well.

Tiny; I pulled the valve cover and looke everything over with the engine not running. Looks okay so far. If I start it up, how much oil will spray/spurt/drip?
